About Honoring the Animals

Honoring the Animals (HTA) is an animal blessing and remembrance ceremony held in celebration of our beloved animal companions. HTA iis annual event presented by Chance's Spot, Pet Loss and Grief Support, a nonprofit organization that helps pet parents and professionals understand and cope with the pain of pet loss and grief. HTA is an annual event and is just one of the many ways Chance's Spot supports those who have lost a pet.

About Chance's Spot

Chance's Spot provides an online support group, publications on pet loss, hotline numbers, referrals and an online tributes page where pet caregivers can post tributes to their departed pets. Locally, Chance's Spot provides educational presentations on the topic of pet loss and compassion fatigue to pet caregivers, pet care professionals and rescue and shelter workers. Our yearly fundraisers help educate and support pet caregivers in understanding the grief associated with losing a pet.
