Welcome to Honoring the Animals!

Honoring the Animals (HTA) is a candlelight vigil and animal blessing that is held on National Pet Memorial Day. The International Association of Pet Cemeteries (IAPC) has designated the second Sunday in September as National Pet Memorial Day and HTA is an annual event held in observance of this day. HTA is presented by Chance's Spot, Pet Loss and Support Resources, a nonprofit organization that helps pet parents and professionals understand and cope with the pain of pet loss and grief. HTA is just one of the many ways Chance's Spot supports those who have lost a pet. more

Names will be accepted for the 2012 HTA Memorial Program Book starting in February. If you attend HTA, a program book will be reserved for you. If you can not attend, a program book will be delivered to you - regardless of where you live - via postal mail. more
